Working as an Entertainer

TUI holidays are full of excitement and adventure, especially for children. All children are looked after professionally so that they can enjoy the colourful programmes and events.

Working as an entertainer means leaving the boundaries of a “normal” work environment. It requires passion for children and a strong sense of responsibility. No matter whether being on duty or not, you will always be your guests’ hero, but will also be available for their requests. Your work may contain dancing and acting on stage, but it’s your guests’ entertainment that counts. However, this job pays off. Childrens’ smiles and applause after shows award you for any effort.

Your way into a career as entertainer starts with your application. We will choose candidates in one day assessment centers. Once chosen you will receive your contract and will be invited to a preparatory training week. Training and coaching will continue throughout your career at TUI Service AG. 

Working as a holiday rep

Our destination management comprises all tourism activities in the holiday resorts including the support and assistance of our customers, transfers, day trips and tours and other services; excluding the activities in our hotels.

Our destination management is responsible for transfers, for example from the airport to the hotels, for the organization of trips and tours, hiring cars and other services to satisfy our guests. With their wide range of services, our overseas agencies meet the high standards of quality of our customers. They satisfy all the varied requirements of our customers in the holiday resorts with the help of a multilingual staff.

A key quality feature of our holidays is the support and assistance of customers by our holiday reps. They welcome the customers as they arrive at the airport and are the point of contact for them throughout the holiday, if necessary 24 hours a day. As a matter of course, our holiday reps speak the languages of our holidaymakers.

Working as a holiday rep is more than an office job and it offers the world as your work place. Our holiday reps act as contact for customers, adviser, person to trust and a listening ear all in one. You should have an enthusiasm for foreign countries and cultures and be able to share this enthusiasm with our customers. Although commercial knowledge is useful in this working world, an understanding of human nature, good social skills, a genuine interest in people, a talent for organisation and an eagerness to serve are more important; and this all day and under sometimes extreme weather conditions! In this world, you should be both independent and a team-player, flexible, self-motivated and confident.
